Theo Zwanziger, the president of the German Football Federation (DFB), said today that Germany is ready to host the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 in June with half a million tickets already sold.
Germany, bidding to win their third consecutive world crown, kick off the three-week long tournament against Canada at Berlin's Olympic Stadium on 26 June with the final to be held in Frankfurt on 17 July.
