Alderman Tom Tunney wants Cubs to make changes to Wrigley plans
CHICAGO, June 27 () -- A Chicago alderman said he won't support renovation plans for Wrigley Field unless the size of a video scoreboard and a planned advertising sign are reduced.Alderman Tom Tunney, who represents Wrigleyville, said he wants the left field video scoreboard to be reduced in size by one-third and he wants the size of a requested right field advertising sign to be similarly reduced to gain his support for renovation plans, moncler uk, the Chicago Tribune reported Thursday. The Ricketts family, hollister coupons, which owns a stake in the Cubs, is seeking the city's support for a plan to invest $300 million in the restoration and modernization of the field as well as $200 million for a hotel across the street from the facility.Cubs spokesman Julian Green said the team needs "all elements" to be in place before going forward with the plans."Anything less significantly hampers our ability to make a $500 million investment," Green said.
