Ernesto Frieri gave up a leadoff base hit in the 10th, but went on to earn his 19th save.Detroit's only run came in the second on Brayan Pena's RBI single. The Angels strung together three straight singles in the fourth to tie it -- Brad Hawpe driving in Hamilton.
