Norwich City manager Chris Hughton insists Abu Dhabi is no holiday
Norwich City players go through their paces at the Zayed Sports City Stadium.
While fans back in Norfolk continue to endure single-digit temperatures,Duvetica München Shop herren, the Canaries' senior squad are training thousands of miles away in the heat of the Middle East.
Late afternoon sun streamed across the impressive Zayed Sports City Stadium in the United Arab Emirates' capital city and the thermometer nudged 28°C, as the manger reflected on the trip.
"First and foremost we wanted a break away," he said. "We've had some very adverse weather and days where we couldn't train on the training pitches. We wanted somewhere where the weather was good and we were given the opportunity to come here.
"It seemed a great idea and it has been. We've had three very good days of training on an excellent pitch and it's allowed us to do some of the work that's been difficult back home."
Hughton decided to take his troops to the UAE after City's humbling home FA Cup exit at the hands of Luton Town opened a two-week fixture gap between the home draw with Fulham and next weekend's Premier League visit of Everton.
But he doesn't think major changes are required to arrest the run of nine Premier League games without a win, despite an imposing run-in ahead, duvetica shop online, including trips to Manchester United, Arsenal and, on the final day, Manchester City.
"We went through a difficult period at the beginning of the season," he said. "Then a very good period where we didn't lose for 10 games. Now we're finding wins that little bit harder. All you hope is to rectify that by doing the work on the training pitch. We are working on all aspects.
"Sometimes it's a little bit of luck: you score a scrappy goal and something leads from that. Against Fulham, if one of our early chances goes in, things open up a bit and it might be a different game."
To underline his desire for practice to make perfect, Hughton's focus in Abu Dhabi has been training, not holidaying, to ensure the Canaries stay soaring high in the top flight.
"It's been work, piumini duvetica," he said. "We allowed them to play golf for one afternoon, but apart from that it's been training and very worthwhile. It's an opportunity. We wouldn't be coming out here if we didn't think it was of benefit to us.
"We've got 12 games left,Roger Vivier online store, and whichever way we get the points, woolrich arctic parka sweden outlet woolrich online shop sweden göteborg, we have to get them. They will be facing an Everton side who did not have to suffer that heat, and were able to train in natural English weather with a warm-up match against Oldham. Mr Hughton will tell them, and the Press just how good Everton are, and he is not too hopeful of points from the game. In the absence of any set attacking plans he will probably say. "Work your socks off ,woolrich online shop, and just get the ball to Snodgrass at all costs. He's used to trying knocking brick walls down. If that has no success , every one get back into our half and behind the ball" …. He started a sensible conversation and I helped turn it silly. Mea culpa. Sorry, richard!! What a lot of people don`t know about the first Pope is that he was a Jewish immigrant into Norfolk (cROMEr is spot on), who introduced fish `n` chips, so everybody assumed he was Italian. His first outlet specialised in battered, deep-fried "squid rings" Fact. Then later on,cheap roger vivier shoes, his descendants (magic, or what?) espoused Nazism, so it all went a bit wrong. It`s all about as believable as the Virgin birth.
Re: Popel - I've already had the interview Brewer. " Up + down" as St. Alan of Partridge would say. My plans to sell off the Vatican + give the money to the poor didn't go down too well I'm afraid. As it says in the good book " they went away sorrowing, for they were of great possession". I may have redeemed myself later on in the second half tho, with my plan to cast 1p5wich Tarrn + it's fans into outer darkness ( otherwise known as Lowestoft) where there will be "much wailing + gnashing of teeth" . This went down rather better with the college of cardinals. I think Delia being a good Catholic girl will also score points for me. What would that raise? About £400,http://rogervivierweddingshoes.olimx.com/,000, say? I`ve no idea what this trip to Abu Dhabi might have cost (including lost revenue from our dead cup campaign). Add on `no fees` for Lapps or Chris Martin. At least we didn`t waste money on H0-0per and,http://giuseppezanottioutletonline.webmium.com/, presumably City will get a cut of Kei`s image rights film revenues etc? So perhaps the club could have funded the Academy themselves - fans could chip in later when an Academy product makes it to the front line - at Norwich, not Brentford.;-(
Trouble is, superfan59, the next fixture is Everton. We`ve done well to get draws from them in the last 3 fixtures and that would probably be seen as a good result again - specially if we actually manage to SCORE A GOAL! I would love to see Hughton`s team impose themselves on the likes of Soton, Reading,Moncler Jacken Online österreich, Villa, Swansea WBA at home and go for the jugular at Wigan. There are 18 gettable points there. Just 9 could well be enough. Not so sure about away games at Ar***al,Woolrich Parka, ManU and ManC. Fingers crossed.
