OTTAWA, April 15 () -- The Canadian government has awarded contracts to Canadian and German companies for military aircraft system maintenance and new equipment.The first,[url=http://www.raybanoutletsale.net/]ray ban outlet[/url], to Cascade Aerospace Inc.,[url=http://www.christianlouboutinoutletsvip.co.uk/]Christian Louboutin Sale[/url], is for maintenance of avionics aboard the Canadian air force's CC-130H aircraft.The award, a performance-based contract, combines several smaller contracts under a broader framework and is worth as much as $221.9 million.Services to be provide for CC-130H avionics include program management, engineering support, maintenance support, materiel support and technical information support. The second award, with a value of more than $74.4 million, was given to Cassidian for the supply of new surveillance radar and secondary surveillance radar systems for six Canadian air force airstrips."These contracts are the latest examples of our government's commitment to ensuring that our men and women in uniform have the proper resources to conduct their important missions," said Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Defense Chris Alexander.
