NYPD Officer Lawrence DePrimo was hailed a hero after a passerby photographed him handing Hillman a pair of boots on a freezing November night last year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

Can't say I'm surprised. I've heard of things like this before; supposedly homeless people actually having a decent place to live,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but beg on the streets because of the money they get. It's why I don't give any money to any supposedly homeless person I see on the street,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and instead give that money to a charity that helps those who are legitimately homeless and in need. Still,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], this doesn't take away from the kindness of the police officer. He should be proud of himself and his actions.
