Two of my grandchildren have been given to an ex-boyfriend of my daughters who abused her in front of them and other witnesses and the court has not, will not, listen to the argument of domestic violence, the fact that they are not married, the fact that they are Florida residents and we have run out of resources to try to get the children back after spending thousands of dollars on attorneys and travel expenses. Now, he won't even let the children talk to their mother, we can't afford to get her back to Texas to fight in court and he threatens that she will never see her children again because we have called Child Protective Services and have the children monitored on a regular basis. He tells everyone that WE are crazy and calls us names, but in reality we are just poor country people who love our children and grandchildren and the court has abused its discretion and violated her civil rights and the rights of the children without due process.
