#6 (no running) is a hard rule to follow.
It is easy to run through a dark room to avoid any frightening surprises. And monsters will be expected but where and when is another story. Jaycees is throwing visitors a curve ball this time around. A blinder so to speak. Each night will offer a different scare tactic as no two nights are exactly the same. However, the layout of rooms will remain the same in this Raleigh haunted house.
#7 warns of loud noises, strobe lights, and air blasts. Air blasts? Yes! After the reading of rules visitors were wisked off towards the first door drape (somewhat of a black sheet). This would be the first room along a bone chilling string of rooms. From catching something or someone moving from the corner of your eye to dodging monsters chasing you, it is all about the Terror at Possum Creek.
The rooms also included draped plastic to weave through, a small science type lab to admire, a body laying on a table missing inner organs, smoke/fog machines clouding one path into a room, monsters blending in then jumping out, and more. Possum Creek has reached Brigatine status.
Brigatine Castle was a New Jersey haunted house/mansion which stood off of the ocean on a boardwalk and away from other locations to give it that "enter at own risk" appeal,[url=http://bestsoccercleatsonlinestore.blogspot.com/][b]best soccer cleats[/b][/url]. Brigatine Castle was also known for monsters jumping out and the goal of scaring all visitors. And Jaycees did not disappoint. Cars cluttered the once popular New Jersey attraction with overwhelming traffic. The only traffic in front of NC State should be college related. NC State Fair traffic should not interfere with your Jaycees visit outside of busing. Visiting Jaycees before or after the Fair is a great way to spend the day and wrap up the night.
How dark is Jaycees Terror at Possum Creek's Outage?
Some rooms inside of the outage maze were pitch black. I noticed a shadow (slight silhouette) of a person sitting in one dark corner. We continued to walk down a darkened hallway.
