Otakon 2011 – Day Negative Zero Team Jjang has successfully attended Otakon 2011 and returned unscathed. Day negative zero was Thursday,[url=http://www.motorcyclejacketmall.com/topichtml/belstaff-vincent.html]belstaff vincent[/url], the early pickup day for badges and the free Matsuri.Here we waited in the humid heat to pickup our badges. A sign was posted at the door that pickup would begin at 2:30, we waited for what seemed like forever only to check twitter and find they'd bumped the time back to 3pm. They didn't even open the doors until 3:15 ish. It was so hot. Did I mention we thought we'd get to Baltimore around 2:30 and really got there at 1pm T___T lolI even made Anna @tweet Otakon to complain:Our only comforts from the heat were the people that “Got That Ice Cold Water. And It's Only $1″ and the distribution of Chinese Food menus by which we made into paper fans and forced Anna to fan us like a slave to earn her keep. LolWe saw many things to keep us entertained, but my favorite was the Ghost Busters Car.Finally they opened the door and we got our badges. By the time we got into the building the line had stretched around back to the entrance. We felt glad that we'd gotten in line earlier. Then it was off to the hotel to check-in and get changed for the Matsuri! Team Jjang sported pink and Korean Hanboks. If you can't tell we were so sweaty. LolBecause of the badge line we were late, and a little disappointed to find that there were only like 6 booths set up. We had hoped for something more authentic like… TAKOYAKI… :( We didn't even stay to listen to Johnny Young Bosch's band Eyeshine.So it was back to the hotel where we decided swimming was the best thing to do since we were so hot and sweaty. We went to the lobby because we weren't sure how to get to the pool. We didn't catch his name,[url=http://www.motorcyclejacketmall.com/topichtml/bell-staff.html]bell staff[/url], but a guy who worked there showed us the way. He asked where we were from and then asked if we were here for the Con. When we said yes he replied with, “But you guys look so normal.” To which we filled the elevator with unified high pitched asian laughter.We love hotels,[url=http://www.belstaffjacket.net/topichtml/barbour-jackets-women.html]barbour jackets women[/url], even if they are extremely expensive and don't always include a continental breakfast and free parking (cough Baltimore Shertaon) Lol. :(As you can see the room is already a disaster.Our costumes neatly hung in the closet. Overall day negative zero of Otakon was fun.Other things we saw on day negative zero:I will separate each day into a separate post. Look for Day 1 coming soon!
