A 10-year-old Ajax girl sensed something suspicious when a man she didn know appeared outside her school and said he was sent by her mother to pick her up.
The Applecroft Public School student asked him for a prearranged code word her parents had given her,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

The vehicle was a small, blue-grey two-door sedan with a noticeable dent on the rear bumper to the left of the licence plate.
Mason said he hopes the incident prompts parents to speak to their children about strangers.
